Return & Refund Policy

We want you to love every product you receive from The Skin Scientist. However, if something is not right, we're here to help. Please read our return and refund policy carefully.

1. Our Return Window

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for eligible items. After this period, unfortunately, we cannot offer a return, exchange, or refund.

2. Eligible Reasons for Return

We accept returns only under the following circumstances:

  • You received a defective, damaged, or broken product
  • You received the wrong product (i.e., not what you ordered)
  • The product arrived with a tampered or broken seal through no fault of your own

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or partially consumed (for hygiene reasons)
  • Products purchased on sale, at a discount, or as part of a promotional bundle
  • Products returned without original packaging, labels, or accessories
  • Returns initiated after the 7-day window has lapsed
  • Skincare reactions or allergic responses (we strongly recommend patch testing all products — please refer to product instructions)

4. How to Initiate a Return

To request a return, please:

  • Email hello@theskinscientist.pk with your order number, reason for return, and clear photographs of the product and packaging within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Our team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days with further instructions.
  • Do not return items without prior authorisation — unauthorised returns will not be accepted.

5. Return Shipping

In cases where the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product), The Skin Scientist will arrange and cover the return shipping cost. For all other approved returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping charges. We recommend using a trackable courier service, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.

6. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method where applicable, or as store credit.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is a result of our error.

7. Exchanges

We offer product exchanges for defective or incorrectly delivered items, subject to availability. If the desired item is out of stock, a refund or store credit will be offered instead.
